Day 1: After crossing
Bhalukpong Gate, entering Arunachal Pradesh
Day 1: Last photo taken
on day 1 was in the afternoon before reaching Sesa and 75 kms away
from Bomdila.
After that the it
started raining, became dark all of a sudden and there was a
significant drop in temperature.
We reached Bomdila
after hours of riding in the dark.
Couldnot click any
photographs due to continous rainfall and low
light.
Day 2: A late &
lazy but pleasent good morning at Siphiyang Phong Hotel,
Bomdila
Day 2: The Journey
Started and also it was our first encounter with snow.
The scenic beauty
after climbing a few kms from Bomdila.
The Yamaha R15 V1 was
the Lead Bike of Ride The Heights powered by JMM Yamaha
Ensuring proper tyre
pressure after intervals to ensure a good ride.
Enroute Dirang, There
was hardly any tarmac to be seen on this road, but we enjoyed
riding.
Day 2: Lunch at Dirang,
Could find time to click a few pictures too
Day 2: Heading towards
Sela Pass, Could feel the gradual drop in temperature as altitude
increases and the dark knight rises.
We reached Sela Pass
hours after Sunset. We were excited but was not at all aware what
we had to face as soon as we enter the Historical Sela Pass, the
2nd highest motorable road of the world during the coldest month of
the year and at night.
This was the last photo
clicked on Day 2. After this till next day morning whatever
happened was beyond expectation and we are lucky that we
survived.
Day 3: When we were riding at midnight at Sela pass we
started doubting that we will be able to see this morning. This was
one of the happiest moment of the ride when we relaized that we did
survive the extremes.
Day 3: Getting our
bikes ready for the rest of the journey
Day 3. At
RA3(Restricted Area 3), These are the officials of Border Road
Organization(BRO) who gave us shelter at night when we were
fighting our survival on motorcycles at freezing cold temperature
of -13 deg celcius at midnight on the world's second highest
pass..
Day 3: Started the ride
for the day at around 8am after spending some quality time with the
BRO officials of RA3.
Day 3: Jainath
Bridge,Enroute Jaswantgarh. The roads had snow and ice on it but it
was nothing compared to what we rode on the previous
night.

Jaswantgarh to Tawang, A few more kms to go.
